At Origin SPMU, the brands used are Lumifil and for a premium choice - Juvaderm.

These two well known brands have been carefully selected as they include numbing and can give a tasteful result. They can be delicately distributed throughout certain areas of the face to establish a fuller, more youthful appearance.

The areas we currently offer dermal fillers are:

• Lips (Lumifil and Juvederm)

• Chin (Lumifil)

• Cheekbones (Lumifil)

• Hyaluronidase for dermal filler dissolving.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

• In combination with facial peelings, laser or ultrasound-based treatments.

• If the patient has cutaneous disorders, inflammation or an infection at or near the treatment site.

• For filler products containing lidocaine: patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine and/or amide local anaesthetic agents, hyaluronic acid or a history of severe allergy or anaphylactic shock.

• Patients with autoimmune diseases.

• In pregnant or breast-feeding mothers and in children.

• If you have herpes simplex virus.

• Sportsmen and women should be informed that hyaluronic acid dermal fillers contain an active ingredient which may give a positive result in a drug test.
